I had a fantastic dining experience at GD Cafe! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Malaysian flavors that brought back warm memories. I highly recommend their Tiger Prawn Curry Noodles—the broth was rich and flavorful, and the prawns were fresh and juicy. The Nasi Lemak with Rendang Chicken was another standout, perfectly cooked with tender chicken and fragrant coconut rice. The ambiance is a beautiful mix of old-school charm and modern comfort, making it a cozy place to enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured we had a great experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a place to savor classic Malaysian dishes with top-notch quality, GD Cafe is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

Was introduced to this cafe by my colleagues. Really like the many choices of food selections here. You can find local food, like curry mee, wan tan mee, to nasi lemak, to rice dishes to Burgers. They also have kaya butter toast. Service is impeccable! Fast and so far have never messed up any of our orders. They have indoor and outdoor seatings , so if you’re ok with no AC and don’t want to wait for seats, there’s always outside seatings.

My favorite cafe, my must-eat every time I come back to KL always having a hard time deciding what to eat because everything is so good and so many options. They also have the best cham in town! Highly recommend their wanton noodle and cham-peng

Verdict: Yes, I will repeat this restaurant. Not all foods are good though. See my recommendations below. Food quality: - 广府鸳鸯 Cantonese Yin Yong: 9.5/10. The combination of the Hor Fan and the crispy noodle is absolutely nailed it. The gravy was tasty too. Not too salty. - 猪肚汤 Pork Stomach Soup: 9/10. Can use a little less salt. - 炒萝卜糕 Fried Radish Cake: 4/10. Taste great, but the portion of radish cake are too little, it's all bean sprouts. - 午餐肉饭 Luncheon Meat Rice: 9.5/10. The egg is so fresh and tasty. - Dry Noodle with Curry Chicken: 7/10. - Spinach Noodle: 9.5/10. Must try. - Curry Mee: 7/10. - 手打柠檬红茶 Lemon Red Tea: 2/10. No taste of tea. Environment: - Table arrangement is a little too packed - Indoor are cozy - Cleanliness is good Service: Good Price: Average Chinese cuisine restaurant / cafe price
